Integration of Third-Party Services and Content

Third-party content, which may include, for example, YouTube videos, Google Maps materials, Google fonts, or graphics from other websites may be integrated into this online offering. This always requires that the providers of this content (hereinafter referred to as “third-party providers”) have knowledge of the IP address of the user because they could not send the content to the respective user’s browser without the IP address. The IP address is hence necessary for display of this content. We strive to use only content whose respective providers use the IP address solely for the delivery of the content. However, we have no influence over whether or not the third-party providers, e.g., save the IP address for statistical purposes. We will notify the users accordingly if we become aware of this.

YouTube: We use YouTube’s “extended data protection mode” to embed videos. A cookie that, according to YouTube, contains no personal information will only be saved on your computer when you play the video. More information on the collection and use of data can be found in the YouTube Privacy Policy at www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy/.

This website uses the Google Maps API for visually representing geographical information. When Google Maps is used, Google also collects, processes, and uses data on the use of the map features by users. More information on data processing by Google can be found in Google’s Privacy Policy. You can also change your personal data privacy settings there in the privacy center.

Google Fonts: To render our content correctly and graphically appealingly across browsers, we use script libraries and font libraries such as Google fonts (www.google.com/webfonts/) on this website. Google fonts are transferred to your browser’s cache so that they don’t have to be loaded multiple times. If the browser does not support Google fonts or denies access, the content is displayed in a standard font.

Calling of script libraries or font libraries automatically triggers connection to the operator of the library. It is theoretically possible for operators of the corresponding libraries to collect data – although it is not clear as to whether or not and, if so, for which purposes they would do so.

The Privacy Policy of the library operator Google can be found at www.google.com/policies/privacy.

Like many other websites, we use so-called cookies. Cookies are small text files that are transferred from a website server to your hard drive. Through them, we automatically receive certain data such as your IP address, browser, and operating system from your computer and your internet connection.

Cookies cannot be used to launch programs or spread viruses to a computer. By means of the information contained in cookies, we can make navigation easier for you and enable our webpages to be displayed correctly.

Under no circumstances will the data collected by us be passed on to third parties or a link to personal data be established without your consent.

Please use your browser’s help functions to find out how to change these settings. Please note that some features of our website may not work if you deactivate the use of cookies.

Use of Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a Web analysis service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called cookies, which are text files saved on your computer to enable analysis of your use of the website. The information on your use of this website generated by the cookie is usually transferred to and saved on a Google server in the US. However, within the Member States of the European Union or other contracting parties to the European Economic Area, your IP address is first truncated by Google due to the activation of IP anonymization on this website. The complete IP address is only transmitted to and truncated on a Google server in the US in exceptional cases. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google uses this information to analyze your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity, and to provide additional services associated with the website use and internet use to the website operator. The IP address transmitted from your browser using Google Analytics is not merged with other data from Google.

You can prevent cookies from being saved by making the appropriate setting on your browser; however, if you disable cookies, you may not be able to use all of the features of this website. In addition, you can prevent the collection of cookie data related to your use of the website (including your IP address) for Google and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available under the following link: browser add-on for deactivation of Google Analytics.

In addition or as an alternative to the browser add-on, you can prevent tracking by Google Analytics on our pages by only allowing functional cookies.

Use of Social Plugins

Social plugins from the providers listed below are used on our websites. You can recognize the plugins by the fact that they are marked with the corresponding logo. These plugins may be used to send information, which may include personal data, to the service provider and may be used by him. We prevent the unconscious and unwanted collection and transmission of data to the service provider through a 2-click solution. To activate a desired social plugin, it must first be activated by clicking on the corresponding logo. Only this activation of the plugin triggers the collection of information and its transmission to the service provider. We do not collect any personal data ourselves using the social plugins or about their use. We have no influence on which data an activated plugin collects and how it is used by the provider. At present, it must be assumed that a direct connection to the provider's services will be expanded and that at least the IP address and device-related information will be recorded and used.
